Season of the Jerries

January 6th marks the beginning of our inaugural season, named after (mostly) everyone’s favorite undead pirate! Love or hate, Season of the Jerries lasts until March 31st. Here’s what’s new this season:

Community Goal

• Goal — Gain 500 new listeners to Dice Populi this season

• Reward — Jerry themed merchandise

Patreon Charity

• AbleGamers — Charity organization dedicated to providing accessible gaming experiences to those with disabilities (AbleGamers.org)

• 25% of all Patreon revenue during this season will be donated to AbleGamers

Discord Updates

• Updated community channels based on usage

• Added Auge, a new leveling bot to track seasonal leveling

• Updated Lifetime rank roles to match the narrative of Dicey Waters

  • Level 0-9, Farpoint Prisoner (Light Blue)

  • Level 10-19, Shantytown Pirate (Blue-Gray)

  • Level 20-29, Farlord (Royal Blue)

  • New levels will be added for It Came in the Night at Level 30

• Added Patron only channels

• Created a Submissions channel for listener content

At the end of the season we will do the following:

• Reveal the highest-ranked Discord member by Auge who will receive a special giveaway item

• Announce the total amount raised for AbleGamers

• Determine whether the seasonal goal was met

  • If so, dispense rewards!
